YouthTruth Appoints New Vice President

Overview

The Center for Effective Philanthropy has appointed David McKinney as the new Vice President of YouthTruth.

David brings a wealth of experience from youth- and education-focused organizations like The Aspen Institute and TNTP that align well with YouthTruth’s mission. Under McKinney’s leadership, YouthTruth will continue its crucial work of helping schools and districts improve student outcomes by listening to students.

McKinney will begin his tenure with CEP on November 4, 2024.  Please join us in welcoming him!

We need more models for how schools, organizations, and systems meaningfully engage the voices, ideas, and brilliance of young people.
